Baby’s Growth and Development


Height	Male 50.0 to 59.9 cm / Female 49.0 to 59.1 cm
Weight	Male 3.40 to 5.68 kg / Female 3.28 to 5.54 kg
Body temperature	36.5 to 37.5˚C
Eyes	The visual capacity develops enough to follow the movenents of a toy.
Ears	The auditory capacity develops in this period. If your baby doesn't seem to respond to your actions or sounds, you need to have your baby examined by a pediatrics specialist.
Jaw	Still unable to hold up the neck, but gradually holds up the chin
Tactile Sense	Starts to fret when a diaper gets wet due to developed tactile senses
Skin	The flushed face becomes smoother and chubbier.
Arms & Legs	Arm and leg movements increase.
Feet	Able to kick the feet strongly.

Baby’s Health

- Vaccination
① BCG and hepatitis vaccinations are a must!
ⓐ Your baby must receive BCG within 4 weeks after birth, and the 2nd hepatitis vaccination by this period.
ⓑ As for hepatitis vaccination, your baby may get it along with other types of vaccination on the same day as long as repeated injection in a single area can be avoided.
