Baby’s Health
- Vaccination
① BCG and hepatitis vaccinations are a must!
ⓐ Your baby must receive BCG within 4 weeks after birth, and the 2nd hepatitis vaccination by this period.
ⓑ As for hepatitis vaccination, your baby may get it along with other types of vaccination on the same day as long as repeated injection in a single area can be avoided.
- Regular Checkup
① Health examination is essential for both you and your baby. When your baby becomes 1 month old, a health checkup is required not only for you, but also for your baby. This is to check your recuperation after the delivery, how your baby grows, and for any innate anomalies.
② Tips on checking your baby’s health
ⓐ Visiting a pediatrics specialist for about a year after your baby is born is never a strange occasion. Select a nearby child hospital as your health care provider and keep an integrated care system to track your baby’s health and development status.
ⓑ Consult with your doctor or health care provider to check your baby’s growth and development. This can analyze physical malformation, nutritional state, nursing, sleeping, excretion, height, and weight.
