- Health Examination
① Is there a chance that my baby is strabismus? An ophthalmologic checkup is required to answer this question.
ⓐ Infantile strabismus may appear to be present even in babies that don’t have it. This symptom will get better in about 3 to 4 months.
ⓑ If your baby doesn’t look you straight in the eye even after 4 to 6 months or looks askance, a more detailed ophthalmologic checkup is required. Strabismus must be cured at an early stage, or the eyesight will be damaged and your baby may suffer from poor vision.
