Babies on baby food have a stomach and bowels function still at a premature stage that, if you start to feed the baby food too early, your baby may suffer from indigestion. Dip the thermometer into Vaselin and put it 5 to 10mm into the anus. widen the anus to the sides to release gas, and your baby produce stool. Of course, this is just a temporary method for very young infants.
