1. Physical growth

The average weight of boys is 12.4-14.7 kg, while girls 11.7-14.2 kg. The height of boys is 88.0-96.5 cm, and the height of girls is 86.6-95.4 cm.

2. Development

1) Movement/Exercise

Your baby can climb up onto furniture and come down by themselves. They can kick a ball with their feet and stands on their tiptoes. She can hold onto a railing and climb stairs and even pedal a tricycle.

2) Cognitive skills(Learning, thinking, problem-solving)

They can find objects even when they are hidden and follow instructions. They can also call out the names of animals and other things in books and make sounds. They can classify shapes and colors, and can handle toys with buttons, levers, and moving parts. They like to play games with dolls, animals, and people. They can do 3– or 4-piece puzzles. They can trace a circle with a pencil or colored pencil, open and close bottle caps by twisting them, and turn door handles.

3) Language/Communication

They can point to things and call them by name and point to things in books. They can name familiar people and body parts and speak in sentences of 2 to 4 words. They understand words such as “in”, “above”, and “below.” They can say their name, age, and gender, and even say their friends’ names.

4) Social/Emotional

They will imitate the behavior of older children. They sometimes push back against behaviors they are told not to do as they are becoming more independent. They show affection to their friends without being prompted, and has learned how to wait their turn in a game. They understand the concept of “mine”, “yours”, and “his/hers”. They show a variety of emotion and can dress and undress themselves.
